Duffy's Automotive Tamworth

Went in to have the timing chain replaced just before Christmas. The start of a myriad of problems! Driving away, the timing chain seal malfunctioned and we ended losing oil from the car. 4 litres of oil needed to limp to Coffs Harbour. We had to hire a car to get to our destination. The car was towed back to Duffys, at their expense, and was told the throttle body would cleaned and gasket replaced. Instead of getting a new gasket, we discovered it not only the old gasket, which is still leaking, it has been glued up to prevent it leaking! This has made the o2 sensors fail and had to be replaced. Injector rail was loose and needed to be tightened. Left hand strut was loose,the valley not secured; bolts all loose, and still continuing to find problems. Although some compensation was provided, it was now insufficient given the poor workmanship discovered after leaving the site. I have photos to prove what a poor job has been done on this vehicle.

Great service from Brock and Ross, did take a couple of days to get the car completely sorted but when I drove it home I was well impressed. Will definitely go back there again thanks fellas. Best outcome I’ve gotten from a mechanics by far. Will recommend to others for sure.
